Forsyth Technical Community College appointed Algenon to their Foundation Board where he serves on the Investment Committee, helping to advance the strategic goals of the institution while preserving the long-term value of their endowment fund.

North Carolina Council on Economic Education appointed Algenon to their board of directors, and subsequently to the executive committee.  Algenon serves as the Governmental Affairs Chair and he co-chairs the Marketing / Public Relations Committee.
